How do I stop Getting Email Notifications?

I sined up for this forum last night and ever since my inbox has been clogged up with message notifications. How do I turn them off?

I went to "Your Stuff"

"Preferences"

and unticked all the notifications and pressed save but I get an error message when I try to save my preferences.

THEY WON'T TURN OFF!

What can I do?

On the forum main page there is a box on the right hand side called Actions, under Notifications there should be something that says Stop Notifications.  Try that and let us know how you get on.

I take it that should be set to read "Stop e-mail notifications".
