Okay, knew to this upgrade business, but was suggested to me that in order for my bluetooth to work in my car, I needed to do a software update, so plugged my phone into PC as instructed, upgrade done, went to use phone no contacts, apps, music, calendar, downloads, WIFI nothing.
I have managed to solve a workaround the wifi, having to use static ip to connect to my wireless home, a temp fix but a workaround (found the information on another website, not SE), so I go to use my calendar, and says I need to create an account?? so I go into acct/settings - add acct- google is there, but wont' let me establish a connection? Is there anyway of getting all this information back??
I have also signed up to appbrain and try to access the webpage on my phone, to install and unable to also says you can install by the bar code reader (app gone) tried to get into markets to download again and wants me to sign in with an acct, once again try to use my gmail account and get the same message " Cant' establish a reliable data connection to this server"
Also I have optus zoo come up on browser but as soon as i want to browse a new website comes up "web page not available" might be temporarily down or moved, I don't think so.
