My xperia play recently stopped charging so i sent back to get checked and they have sent me a new one.
I kept my SD Card thinking that would have all my apps etc on it but they are not showing up.
i think they are still on it as it shows 4.8GB used on the SD card.
Is there a way of getting them to work again?
If not is there a way to get a list of all apps i have downloaded from the marketplace as i assume they would be free to re-download.
Would really appreciate any help.
Thnaks in advance
are the showing up under settings>applications>apps on SD?
if they are then transfer them back to phone memory then back to SD.
If not you are able to redownload them from the market for free.
Unless they have sent you a completely new phone then you may have some troubles.
Depending on where you are in the world you could log in to the Android Market and see if you have the My Library option, it is available in the US but sadly not for me in the UK. If you do have it you can send all the apps your have previously used back to your phone.
As long as you register the new device with the old gmail account anything you purchased will be available for you to re-download and should display as Purchased when you search them on the Android Market.
If you don't have this option I would recommend Appbrain both as an app and also online, then you sync your phone to it and it stores a list of your apps ready to redownload after any major update/change of phone etc. This is what I use on my Android phones and my son's. I realise that this may not be much use to you in your current situation but worth a thought for future reference.
