Help, my little boy has entered the pattern incorrectly too many times,

My 6 year old son got hold of my phone and has locked it. The phone will not let me use it until i enter my google user name and password!  I have forgotten my password, so i can not use the phone.  I have reset it on the computer, but apparently the phone will not recognise that i have re-set it, so the only way to unlock it, is to send it back to sony and get it unlocked which could take 7 days!!  and  i will lose, all my data and any text messages that have been sent from when he locked it. Has anyone got any ideas what i can do? i use the phone for business, and if i dont respond to customers texts i will loose their business for ever!!  Help

put the sim in another phone, to keep on running ?

or is it sim-free ?

You can fix it yourself by downloading Sony Ericsson Update Service and updating the phone but you will still lose your text messages etc.
