Help! cant find 2.1 software

Hi, i got my phone of a good friend of mine (xperia x10i) and i know the update came out for android 2.1 some time ago, i keep looking for the update but my phone nor my computer can seem to find it, just says "no update available"

country : united Kingdom

brand : Vodafone (but has a t-mobile contract sim inside)

hope some one can help

Your phone has had the sim lock removed but its still Vodafone branded so you will have to wait for them to release it

as far as I know they have not approved it for their phones yet.
