Google account creation problem

Hi,

This is Nazib from Bangladesh. After updating my XPERIA X-10 to 2.1 I cannot creat google account though my internet settings is ok, even I can log in into my gmail account.

I had a similar issue. My prob was trying to use @gmail instead of @googlemail

Try doing these to reset your gmail settings but backup your contacts using the phonebooks menu>Backup or Export>sd card

so you can restore them afterwards from the sd card should they get deleted, they will be stored as 1 vcf file so note what its called when you backup

1) Go Menu -> Setting -> Applications -> Manage applications.

2) Gmail Storage -> Clear data.

3) Gmail -> Clear data.

4) Google Apps -> Clear data.

5) Google Search -> Clear data.

6) Restart Gmail, which should ask you to set up your Google mail account.

Now you can set up your gmail account.

Check and if necessary restore your contacts

ReBoot the phone and try the market
