Gmail and Yahoo Notifications are not fired if doze is active

Hello,

after a long time of not touching the phone (overnight) no notification is shown by gmail, yahoo-mail or the internal Email.

Steps to reproduce

1. leave the phone alone overnight

2. send an Email.

Normallay within 1 to 60 Seconds a notification is provided, I have wait for about 1 hour but nothing happends. After wakeup the phone notification is fired.  A closer look to GSam Battery show me that doze was active

Yahoo and Gmail are both "not optimized" and have a "priority" setting.

Is that the well-known bug as reported here GMail Notifications Not Appearing  ?

Should I try a Software-Repair with Xperia Companion ?

if that happens to all android 6.0 devices then software repair wont help you.

how about this, try to put your device in standby. not moving it for awhile (or until you think doze kicks in)

then try to send an email from a computer to the email accnt in the device,. if the device doesnt show the notification then it must be a bug.
