Gingerbread update causing problems to GPS

Hi,

   My GPS used to work fine before I upgraded to Android 2.3.3 (gingerbread). Now it has suddenly stopped working. I'm not able to get it to connect to GPS satellites. anyone else see this issue? Please tell me how to fix this issue.

Have you tried repairing the software through the PC Companion to see if this helps?

Yes. I have already gone for the repair option. I had to go for the repair option as the phone was giving me error messages whenever I tried to open an audio (including trying to change the default ringtone!) or photo. I'm lost and do not know what else to do now

Hi, see if Factory Data can resolve your issues. Goto Settings>Privacy>Factory data reset. Be aware that this will wipe out phone data (SD Card not affected). Good luck!
