formatting micro SD

How do I format my new SD card through my phone? Thanks in advance.

insert the SD card on your phone > turn on your phone > settings > storage > unmount SD card > wait > format SD card

thanks for the reply, but there is no format SD option appearing only mount SD card waited for about 5-10 mins 😃 is there a problem on my phone?(acro s)

I think you need micro SDHC card for acro s

This is not just a concern for acro s but I think for other xperias too. I have go a month ago and having same problem. Not detecting the micro SD. What I did is format it using a PC, set everything to default and then that's it.

My Acro S uses just the normal micro SD 32GB. So far no probs with it.
