Experia M2 not charging

Dear gents!

I have annoying problem.

When I plug USB charger of many types no charing on my Xperia starts!

It is really, really annoying.

Connector seems to be solid...slight movement of connector does not trigger charging anywhow.

I indted to do restore because this matters seems to be some software issue!

Any advice would be welcomed!

what charger are you using? how about when you use the original cable and adapter that came with the phone?

will the phone charge if you move the usb port and cable together?

try to charge (using the adapter) while on safe mode

if it charges then it must be a software problem . repair with software repair using Xperia Companion

if not, it might be a hardware problem , have your device checked at your local service center Local support
