Recently, i found out my 1 year 3 months old xperia go is having problem with its touch screen.
By average, 1 out of 5 touches cant be detected by the phone itself.
I tried to hard reset my phone, but it did not avail.
Therefore I decided to send my xperia go to one of the authorized Sony service centre.
After few days, I have been contacted that the repair will cost around RM480 (which is more than 50% cost of a brand new xperia go). I dont think it is worth to pay that amount of money to do the repairing.
Is there anything I can do to improve or bear with this situation?
Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
Unfortunately, it's not much that you can do on your own if it's a hardware issue. Then the phone needs to be repaired at a service center.
same with mine, few days ago, also arround 1 in 5 touchs are not registered.
other thing, i runed the diagnostics app, and theres a touch blind spot around:
here.
What should i do?
