Delete / deactivate web shortcut on Elm?

Is there a way to delete, change or deactivate the "web" short cut on the bottom right of the Elm home screen, as activated by the top right hand button i.e the same button used to "lock" the key pad and to go "back" from most functions.

I am constantly starting the web process which is really frustrating & time consuming. Also costs me 50p if don't realise & it goes on from Vodafone homepage.

Took phone to shop & their suggestion was to deactivate web by changing internet & WAP settings to 'pay as you go'. This is unhelpful as means can't send picture messages which I regularly do (camera one of reasons for buying Elm!).

Any ideas?

You cant change the softkeys.

Yes. Create a dummy/empty account and assign it to your internet settings. As a result when pressing the upper right key you will get a conectivity error but your MMS will continue to work as normal.

Go to Settings->Conectivity->Internet Settings-> Select Connect Using-> Options->Create new.

Select PS data account (it doesn't realy matter what you choose) and give a name to the account. Do not give any other settings.

Once created you will be forwarded to the Data Accounts screen. Once there select the newly created account and save.

Go back to home and check that once pressed the connection fails. This is the only way i have found to "disable" the shortcut and prevent it

from charging you. Hope this helps
