Cyber shot camera mod for Xperia P (Jelly Bean)

hi anyone out there know how to modify our camera app to cyber shot in jelly bean?

s of course i too got the same issue and for me after getting to BE2 it didnt seems to work .. i think its the cyber shot which makes some conflicts but if we are in JB moonbreader rom we wont get this problem for sure .. when i was in that rom it has x-reality instead of BE and that ll work in album but not in videos ,, as i got some problem in my device i reverted back to sony stock and flashed cyber shot and some other minor mods and then found BE changed to BE2 and it didnt work too :smileysad:..

to unroot update your device with SUS or PCC .. but usually rooting doesnt void warranty !!

I think AC!D Sound might be responsible for this!

It's for installing BE2

Read the "error of two BE" part..

There it says to remove these two lines from build.prop file to remove BE1 option if one has flashed BE2

ro.service.swiqi.supported=true

persist.service.swiqi.enable=1

and write these two lines for BE2

ro.service.swiqi2.supported=true

persist.service.swiqi2.enable=1

I found 1st line mentioned above in my build.prop file under AC!D Sound Tweaks

and other line in build. file..

I don't know whether we have BE2 or not...but no Bravia Engine's working at all...

Hi...me again hehehe...

Just got the solution of BE...now there's only one BE and it's working!!

I edited:

ro.service.swiqi2.supported=true

persist.service.swiqi2.enable=1

to

ro.service.swiqi.supported=true

persist.service.swiqi.enable=1

i.e. simply removed "2"

and now there's one BE and it's working!!

Guess...There's No BE2 installed just some wrong scripts preventing BE1 from working!

Well... I used ES File Explorer..

goto device/system/

there will be build.prop and build. file

open build.prop as text....look for the

ro.service.swiqi2.supported=true

persist.service.swiqi2.enable=1

edit it... i.e. remove "2"!!

if there's build. file in system folder...open it as text and check whether  "persist.service.swiqi2.enable=1" written or not...if yes..then remove "2"!

then save and Restart your device!

PS: BE only working in images not in the videos!!

One more thing...can you tell me how I can activate HDR mode in Cybershot mod...

I tried everything it shows all modes but not HDR... My settings are auto..!!

thanks mate solve it by using build prop editor from google play and set ro.service.swiqi2.supported=true to ro.service.swiqi2.supported=false and its working now thanks again mate, and oh once you activate auto hdr is active but its works by just over exposing and not really like hdr just download hdr camera from play store and youll be fine

@Raj.alive its a custom rom bro !!  http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2258058 check out here !! and BE works in both audio and video for sure !! it wont work when we change it to BE2 or x-Reality !!

s bro hdr in the cyber shot is jus an enhancement and a true hdr but this is always better than the stock cam !!

like acid conflicted with bravia now something is making my videos not to play which were previously played in my device ,, i wnt thro the build.prop file with each lines and couldnt find anything ,, any help ???
