could we get predictive dialing?

My last few phones have been SE, most recent was a w760a.  When starting to dial it would suggest contacts or recently dialed numbers that could be selected without having to type the whole phone number.  Would it be possible to get this on the x10?

Not a total solution but actually a really cool app.... Gesture Search free from the market.  You can use it to draw in either letters or numbers and it will gradually filter them down with the extra ones you put in.

For example draw a D and you will get Dave, Debbie, Donald, Doug etc so add an O and you will get Donald and Doug etc.

Same for numbers... put in 07 and you get huge long list of UK mobile numbers but keep adding and it will filter them down.

You then get a green handset next to their name to dial or you can press on their name to open their contact.  It might sound cumbersome but its generally how I find numbers in my phone.  You can also have it set for apps / music / video too.

This is the QR code for the app, scan it with a Bar Code scanner and it should find it for you.

help me find phone apps and how to install them service provider is ROGERS in Canada, and they locked out sonyericsson services of the phone,,,

Hi, how about downloading apps from Android Market website? Do it from the phone web browser.

You can't delete apps pre-installed by your Service Provider.

what's so hard about tapping the phone dialer icon and then tapping the call log button and selecting the recently dialed numbers in there?

And the fellow locked in with Rogers, is not flashtool and a custom rom the cure for all those woes?

I use my phone for work and make 50 to 100 calls a day. scrolling through the call log is pointless for me if it wasn't a call in the last few minutes

Can you not download apps from the Android Market? Rogers don't block that. What is it that they are not allowing?
