Yes, settings is 'impostazioni' - the one with the tools. Press that. Locale & text is the 4th choice from the bottom of the screen ('lingua e testo' in Italian. Press that, and then the first choice on the next page ('seleziona lingua' in Italian = 'Select locale' in English). That will bring up the screen from which you can choose your locale. Just select the language / region you want, such as 'English (United Kingdom)', and your phone will be back to English.
