can't connect with PC

hi, 

my sony xperia xa1 having problem in connecting with pc.  when i connect my phone with pc using usb cable, my pc cant detect my phone. phone is only charging. need some assistance.  tq

On my XA1 there is a menu path:

1. "Settings"
2. "Device connection"
3. "USB connectivity"
4. "Install software"  << make sure this option is enabled (see photo)
