Call volume dropping

Hello,

I have recently bought a sony xperia arc, and have been experiencing drops in earpiece/speaker volume during calls - I've noticed that it happens whenever i am talking. When I stop talking the volume kicks back in, but only after the first word or syllable that the other person starts to say, meaning that I miss the first part of what they're saying. Is this a common problem with this phone? Thanks

Can you clarify if this is related to all calls received/dialed, has this only started to happen recently or has this problem been constant since purchase?

Hello, thanks for your reply, I have been testing the problem and it doesnt happen on all calls, although I think the problem has been intermittent since getting the phone.

If this comes and goes it could be a network problem, check with you network operator if they might have noticed this.

Maybe you could try another SIM card to confirm this.
