Since moving to central London my phone sometimes says on the main screen "No acces to Network". I have tried the tip about changing the mobile network setting to GSM only - which seems to work (i.e. allows the phone to find the signal and connnect to Vodafone) and then after a while I changed it back to GSM & 3G. Consequently I experienced the same problem yesterday - why does this keep on happening? Incidentally, the same thing happened to my flatmates phone (yesterday) - which although is not a Sony Ericsson, is also on Vodafone.
I appreciate this sounds like a network problem rather than a hardware problem - can anyone please advise?

Sounds like you might want to make sure you are using the proper/newest SIM card from Vodafone? If you have an older one, you might experience the problems you describe.
