hey,
ok, back again! Downloded last update and installed fine. GPS working great now.
The new update didn't fix my streaming music to my car stereo via bluetooth though. It stutters after about 30 secs to a 1 min.
I've repaired the phone (which is a right pain) and installed the bare minimum of apps and tried it again. it still stutters the same after a minute or so. I've tried keeping the screen on, downloaded a "bluetooth media fix" app which didn't help. cleared out the bluetooth memory in the car stereo etc etc. I dunno what else to try now?
Everything worked fine with KitKat, but since the last two Lollipop updates it started stuttering
According to google searches, this seems to be a common'ish problem for various phones out there it seems?
any suggestions?
thanks
jules
Hi hoodyhunter,
You could also speak with the manufacturer of the Stereo unit, as it may be related to an incompatibility issue. They should have a list of all devices that work correctly with there product
Jake - Everything worked fine until Lollipop came along (I'd even say wonderfully) It's not a hardware issue, it's an android / bluetooth issue with Lollipop.
Uliwooly - I'll try the safe later when i'm in the car. will update
thanks
Jules
nope. tried in safe mode. no change. stutter after about 1-2mins. It's like a buffer gets filled up or something?
Reset bluetooth too. no other bluetooth devices around either. music works fine though phone speakers, only Bluetooth Conn problem?
worked fine with Kitkat?
Jules
Following your reply, when software is updated on a handset a number of things change.
In some cases a device may work fine on an older version with a third party product, however after an update to the software it may not work as it used to.
This is why they have compatibility lists for specific variants of software and also why they supply there own updates to help battle compatibility.
So, worked on KitKat, don't work on Lollipop. Right, got it Jake.
Hi everybody - got the same issue here with the latest Jabra Move headphones when connecting over bluetooth.
Audio stutters for like 10 seconds than working normal - is there a way to deactivate the Throw extension?
Everytime when that extension pops up the audio begins to stutter
