Bluetooth keeps turning off after upgrade to 32.2.A.0.253

Hi,

so I've got a Z5 compact, and the bluetooth sounds was very often stuttering, no matter what device it was connected to (car, BT headhphones, BT speakers, ...). Since the upgrade to 32.2.A.0.253, the problem seems to be gone, but now bluetooth often (every few minutes) turns itself off, and then back on. Sometimes I have to turn it on again myself.

Anyone else has that problem? Will that phone ever work the way it should?

As far as I am concerned, there is no other way than go back to another version of the software or wait for another update from Sony..

I did a factory reset this weekend and only reinstalled few apps (to-date). Everything seems working fine (no BT disconnects so far). Worth a trial.

I confirm that during 24Hrs did not experience one BT disruption. I progressively add applications, one after the other.

I did a test, for 3 days, Bluetooth on (but not connected to any devices) and WiFi on, the Bluetooth did not OFF by itself anymore, it only happens if I connect my Huawei watch to my Z5 premium, so it might be a software like android wear is causing the problem? I might need to fresh reinstall android wear and apps for the watch for now and test again.

Tropfedup: I did that before like software repair with the Sony PC companion software, after 2-3 days it came back for me. You might want to monitor it after it hits 2 days.

After 3 days, still running OK.

I did not add back all applications I had before, I am cautious. I probably only added 20%.

Hence this might be related to one app or the number of apps (memory usage, etc.).

But anyway, my phone is now behaving fine.

I had also WIFI issues which are also cleared now.

Conclusion: I advise everyone to try a Factory Reset and cautiously add apps back.

Hi,

I am facing issues with the bluetooth on my Z5 compact since update to .224.

- Since the .224, the bluetooth from the phone randomly disconnects (every 5 minutes).

- Since the .253, the bluetooth seem to disconnect even more randomly .

It was fine with my z5 premium was connected to my Huawei watch on normal built-in watchfaces for 3 days, the moment today I switched to pujieblack watch face with Google fit enabled, my Bluetooth went off by itself again and restart is needed, so need to monitor the pujieblack watchface or the Google fit is buggy

I've tried a software repair but I still have the issue I really hope that Sony will make something asap!!! Otherwise I will sell my Z5!!

After my factory reset, performed a week ago. all woks fine for me, but again, I only added apps that I trust.
