Hi all,
So after reading a few post on this forum I found out that my xperia x10 mini (e10i) may not be compatible on at&t 3g's network (arrggh!).
Is there a way I can change a setting to make it work on 3g? I'm running on EDGE now and it sucks to know that I could have had 3g...
Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
What is At&t's 3G transmitting frequency?
I believe it runs on HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 and mine runs on HSDPA 900 / 2100. I guess I'm screwed arent I
http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/mobilephones/overview/xperiax10mini?cc=global&lc=enWell, according to the phone's specs, the Xperia 10 mini can also receive 3G/3G+ at 850/1900/2100, but perhaps this depends on where you bought the phone.
sorry to tell you this, but you are probably out of luck.
There are 2 version of the X10 and X10 mini. X10i is the international version that works with T-mobile and most of the world region. X10a is the American version that will work with AT&T. If you have the X10i Mini, you probably should consider switching to T-mobile or sell the phone. A phone that cannot get 3G is just useless. EDGE is too slow. I bought a Satio international version only to find out that it will not work in US. Sold it after 1 week.
Thanks for the help guys. Much appreciated.
