3G Connection Problem

I have an Xperia Neo MT15i. i was on GB when suddenly my 3g got some problems. i can see an "H" on the signal bar but i cant browse the internet. i tried updating it to ICS via SEUS still the same. i know i got the correct apn settings.  i tried to flash wih other firmware of GingerBread and ICS from xda. still cant access the internet eventhough it has connected. tried typing *#*#7378423#*#* and under CONFIGURATION '"Working Bands: GSM 850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS_BC1, UMTS_BC8". Im from the phiippines and using SMART network.

Have read somewhere the Smart Communications GSM Frequency Band - 850Mhz/900 MHz/1800 MHz (Tri-Band)
3G Frequency Band W-CDMA (UMTS) 2100 MHz UMTS/3G 1900(uplink)/2100(downlink) (Dual Band).

is this the problem why i cant browse the internet?

edge? yes it works but is so slow

is there a firmware for mt15i that will have the band 2100?

tried new sim. still cant connect. transferred new sim to other phone and its working. hope somebody can help me with this.

Which phone do you have? which android version and build number? try a brand new SIM card, check the APN settings, check your network coverage

tried new sim no internet copnnection even its connected via 3g. but when i try to connect the sim card on my other phone 3g works. apn settings are correct. verified it with Smart. I can see the "H" logo on the upper right and everytime i turn the data connection on, the sync picture always appear on top. the small circle. tried editing the apn config xml still no luck.
