Xperia XA - Touch screen issue

I found that the top edge (esp. top right hand corner) of the screen is not really "senseable".  I need to press a little bit harder then other part of the screen in order to get the response.

I tried with both my glass protector off or on (apparently I have to get a new one after I took one off)

Should I just go to the Sony store and ask for maintenance?

I find out this problem when I watch videos in landscape mode and when I want video to start again I rewind it back and I was unable to do so.. It doesnt want to go back from 2 secs.. And then I find out that I have this screen issue.. Hope they will fix it on later updates or with android 7.0 nougat update..

Hi Sony,

I have the device for aprox. 2 weeks and I can say that it's a good phone but some issues must be fixed.

The issues found by me are:

1. Screen has low responsive zones on upper and lower margins. I must double tap on corners while using keyboard and also when i want to scroll down the settings menu from upper margin (included here are the 3 known dots positioned in corners of applications settings). The worst is that using touch gloves (I mostly use gloves) the touch screen margins are becoming unresponsive most of the time. Sometimes the screen stop responding no matter using or not the gloves. With touch gloves is more easy to detect screen's unresponsiveness, margins least while the center of the screen is most responsive. I can't use a screen protector because it also lowers the responsiveness overall.

Please Sony fix this issue because I might return the product being in the 30 days of testing. The screen responsiveness is the major flaw on this device in my opinion!

2. Camera takes the picture before it finish the focusing. This happens mostly on low light shots (mostly using flash) and with Sony camera. With other Google Play camera apps it's ok. Low light shots are in need of more sharpness and light, I can't shoot stars at night as Z3+ at 6400 iso. Also I miss Image Stabilisation option from Xperia M using a more softer sky/daylight and also more softness processing for front camera. Front camera is out of focus and focuses very slow mostly on low light. Sometimes the images are very grainy and unclear. Also front camera would be nice to have screen flash on very dark spaces. Please Sony fix these!

3. In call noise suppresion is quite weak. 

4. Inside the device near the speakers some vibrations let the impression that speakers are bad but they aren't. It's good to know that this issue I also had with M, Z3+, Z5c, Xc but mostly with XA now.

Amar17   my XA dual is like your XA touch test esp at top and top right of the screen and when device is on the desk or horizontall situation ,

if there is a hardware issue Sony should recall it like what samsung did with Galaxy Note 7 of course sony has worst warranty service

Pars987 I also tried reinstalling software with Xperia Companion app and nothing was better.. So dont try it its just waste of time.. I'm so sad because of this problem, I feel uncomfortable using this phone knowing this problem.. I'm so disappointed in Sony not doing anything to fix this problem. 😕 😕 Very sad..

I have same issues all over. Works like a dream then becomes useless, this is after a Sony update. So frustrated. Tried software repair. Still not working properly
