XA ULTRA Screen problem

I bought my phone last January 2017 and I  haven't  encountered  any problems until yesterday (June 30, 2018).  My phone's  screen suddenly flickers and have blue vertical lines.  I have tried doing all the advise in this site and nothing works.  Now what I want to know is if I brought my phone to any sony local repair center would there be an assurance that  the replacement is an improve part? cause I'm  having second thought since I'll  be spending I don't  know how much to something I'm not even sure if  will last.

That does seem like a hardware issue, since this is a hardware issue. As for your question, yeah, I think they should be able to repair the phone and test it before return it.

Hey,

I am experiencing exactly the same issue from yesterday. I saw some user posts on web and they hv the same issue too. Have you tried to contact the support? I just sent them an email now and waiting for their reply.

Hi good pple...I happen to have the same problem with my experia xa ultra just now, the screen just started flickering with blue lines, what can I do.

Hi there, nope I  haven't brought my phone to any sony repair center due to my work schedule. I noticed that other than my current concern with my phone another concern arises. My phone responds so slow that even when I'm typing every word or letter I click it would appear after 3 seconds. Another one is that some part of the screen would sometimes not work.  

What advice did you get from the email you sent?

I have the same problem from 2 weeks ago, these lines appeared suddenly, I have done also all they recommend but it persists. I contacted the Sony assistant department and they told me to go to a local store and let them my phone to fix it. I haven't done it yet, don't know how much it will cost and I don't want/can't stay without my phone. I am thinking of buying a new one, but I am really disappointed with Sony.
