When I answer a call, I can only hear the other person if I turn on speaker. How come?

Hi @DorisR, I'm really sorry to hear about that.  

There is two microphones on your device, one that is being used when making a call and you are holding the device to your ear, and there is one microphone that is being used when you have the call on speaker phone. 

I would recommend you to try the main microphone, you can do this by going to: Settings > Support > Tests > Depending on version of the setting it's either "Microphone" or "Media". Try this out and see what kind of result you are getting.
