Sony Xperia XA wont start up?

okay so I've had this phone for about 2 years now, but today my phone turned itself off and wouldn't turn back on (when i hold the power button the boot up gets about 75% of the way and then just turns off again, and if a charger is plugged in it'll boot up again to show its charging)

I've managed to get it back on for an hour at a time here and there but now its just completely stopped working at all.

was wondering if theres a fix for this because I'm very attatched to this phone

Hi @WilliamTi, sorry to hear about your phone not starting up.

There are a few things that you can try to see if you are able to get it running again.

To start with, press and hold the power button and volume up button for about 10 seconds and see if the device restarts, or if you can turn it on again after doing this.

If you still can't turn it on, or there is no reaction, charge it for about 1-2 hours and try the same procedure again. If there is still no reaction, try performing a software repair using Xperia Companion. Do note that this will delete all data stored on the internal storage of the device.
