Sony tablet s freezing on shutdown.

My sony tablet s keeps freezing when i power off,the tablet will not shutdown.The only way to turn it off is to press the reset button,this can't be right,can it?Please can anyone help me with this problem?

keep pressed the power button for about 10 seconds to shutdown . i have the same problem
