XL 202: AverMedia Hybrid TV Card A16C but only analogue using Windos MCE!!!

just a new thread for my curiosity.
Some times ago Sony greatest Minds decided to do a great Mediacenter Pc, With BlueRay and many many amazing things. Particularly, The Sony Greatest Minds, decided to put inside their wonderful PC an AverMedia Hybrid TV Card A16C, able to recevie digital and analogue signal. Nevertheless, considering it too much for humankind, they decided to instal Windows MCE, able to tune only on analogue or digital but not both of them!


Wonderful story!!!


Any reasonable explanation about this?

Given that you only have a single TV tuner, it seems like an excellent idea from Sony that this should be a hybrid card because we are in a transition period where some areas cannot receive analogue anymore and at the same time some areas cannot receive DVB-T.

I admit that it would be nice to have two TV Tuners in the XL202 but you can always install a second one if you like.

i can install a second one and in fact I have already installed it but, MCE is still and always unable to tune on both the cards contemporary!
