WLAN Drivers

I need WLAN drivers for XP.

Model: Vaio VGN-N1E

Windows XP does not recognise it - HELP.

Do you know the name of the wireless card?

What is the model number ie. 11, 21 or 31?

If the card is a 3945ABG (very likely) then the drivers are here .

It shows as a LAN EXPRESS AS IEEE PCI-E card

XP recognises now, but says the drivers are corrupt.

In device manager uninstall the wireless card drivers and reboot then reinstall the drivers when it starts up again and hopefully it'll all work with no corruption.

Still say missing or corrupt driver.
I have a plug and play wireless card and that works fine.

Your model must have the Toshiba Atheros Mini Wireless Card - not the Intel Card.

Download the XP Drivers for the N11-Series Vaios from here: -

Right-click on the downloaded .zip and choose "Extract All".

Navigate to the WirelessLAN1 folder and run the Setup.exe file to install the driver.

Don't install drivers from WirelessLAN2 as these are the Intel Drivers.

I have managed to get everything to work apart from an ethernet controller - network card.
Does anyone know the manafacturer of network card for n21 series laptops?
