WLAN and Hibernation

Hello

I have a irritating problmen on my Vaio (C-series) running Vista Home Premium and would be glad to hear if anyone else has experienced this problem and maybe have a solution.

If I try to use hibernation instead of shutting the computer down completely, it cannot reestablish connection with my wireless network when I restart it. In fact it does not even find a network, even though it normally find both my network and a neighbours network. After a reboot it works fine again, but because of this I loose the opportunity to use the fast start-up that hibernation provides. :slight_frown:

Have anybody heard of this problem before.

I am starting to suspect that my WLAN-card in the computer might be bad, because I do not get more than 3 "bars" on network strenght despite the fact that I have less than 5 meters to my WLAN-router.

Hi Langbraten and welcome to Club Vaio.

I don't know if this is the same problem you have but it must be worth installing the fix to see if it helps.

Microsoft Hotfix KB933872
