Wireless LAN light not working. HELP?!?!

I have a sony vaoi VGN-NR10E laptop and the wireless network is no longer working. Upon turning on the laptop the green light remains on. However as soon as i enter my password to get into the computer the light goes off, and this is preventing me from connecting to any wireless networks! I would appreciate any help you can give me. Have you checked that WLAN is enabled in Vaio Smart Network?

Either double click the icon in the system tray or click Start >All Programs > Vaio Control Center > Network Connections > Vaio Smart Network > Advanced.

Hi Maddy. Since when did this issue started? Can you recall any changes made prior?

One option if the step suggested above doesn't fix the issue(hopefully it will) is to run a System Restore. This will set the settings on your notebook t an earlier time where it was working fine.
