Win2000Prof

I bought a used notebook Vaio PCG K115S, about 1,5 years old.
I tried to install a double boot system, so additionally Win2000 to the existing WinXP.

But though the installation is ok, W2K has a lot of problems with the notebook hardware, it does NOT recognize audio and video controller, some PCI controller, ethernet controller etc pp

Has anyone a solution except from directly looking for drivers from the manufactorer ?

In my other compaq notebooks I had nothing of this problems !

Greetings !

Hi Medikus and welcome to the forum.

I have exactly the same dual boot system up and running without problem. I assume that you have installed Win 2000 on a separate partition? If so you need to download and install all of the Sony drivers and utilities from Vaio-Link . Unfortunately Vaio-Link has precious little support for Win 2000 on you model but the XP drivers and utilities should work.
