Pretty much as the subject says, I would like to definitely know what is the largest memory module this laptop will take. I have read the memory specs for this model and it states 8GB max. The laptop shipped with 1x4GB with one free memory slot.
A local computer store stocks 8GB modules (1x8GB) but before I buy one I would like to know if anyone has successfully put a 8GB module in this laptop alongside the 4GB module (12GB in total) or am I stuck with buying an additional 4GB module to make a max of 8GB?
One of my older Sony laptops used to state max 2GB but would take 4GB hence above question.
