I have the Vaio model number SVE151J13M, Windows 8. I have not been able to use the video function of the webcam since I bought the laptop over 3months ago! Have tried searching for clues online but no luck.
Basically I go to use the video and it starts fine (I click the screen and it starts), when clicking the screen again with the mouse to stop the recording, it comes up with a message 'There is a problem with the video' and so hasn't saved or recorded anything. Apparently you are supposed to click the screen to stop the recording so am not sure what the problem is and would be very grateful for suggestions? Thank you.
