the BIOS update doesn´t work, because of die file BIOS.WPH doesn´t exist.
Who can help? Thanks

Hi Peter and welcome.

Exactly which BIOS Update are you trying to install and where did you get it from? Be very careful, you could end up with a non-working Vaio!

BIOS.WPH is the file that updates the BIOS and the actual BIOS Update file for your specific computer (something like EL80107B.ROM) has to be renamed BIOS.WPH. It suggests to me that there is not a suitable BIOS Update for your model.

Have a READ of this but don't do anything until you are sure about it.

Hi Peter!

you have to execute the "install.cmd", not the Winphlash2.exe . .

then the biosupgrade to "R0061N7" will work.
