VGN-FZ11S :: Downgrading from Vista to XP :: Drivers

I am going to format and install Windows XP. So, I assume I need to get hold of all the system drivers for VGN-FZ11S. I have been searching around but I didn't find anything helpful.

Welcome to ClubVAIO

Well Sony made your VAIO as a vista model and so there are no XP drivers available. However you can find the drivers yourself from the individual manufacturers websites.

The graphics card driver however will not be available on XP as it is a Direct X10 card and XP does not support this.

I am downgrading because most of the software I am using for my job (sound engineer) is not compatible with Vista. I didn't believe this rumor... but I show it for myself.

So, you say that Sony doesn't provide a driver pack for XP? Damn!

And I was very happy with my new machine...

The software that you are using may have a vista patch if you look at there website.

Like i say you can downgrade but it may throw up more problems than it solves.

The only other (very expensive) suggestion is to buy some new software that is vista compatible.
