I have a new Sony VGC-JS4EF running windows 7 64 bit mode.
It all worked fine, Macafee was working fine with the trial version, then i paid for my new subscription.
Updated it, scanned all ok, then restarted and Blue Screen, took of Macafee, all worked ok, did all windows updates, and sony updates, tried install of macafee again, blue screen, restore back to original again ok reboots ok.
Had no help from macafee, so tried kaspersky IS 2010, this installed ok, scanned ok, no viruses etc, tried a restart, blue screen, took off all ok. tried install again blue screen, have have taken that off as well, running with wireless off at moment so can at least use it.
The error on Blue screen is DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
Powering up in safe mode was ok, but safe mode with networking still crashed.
Anyone shed any light on this or had a similar problem, i'm going mad here.
