My VGN-FE28H is about to celebrate its first year and since July has occasionally shut down for no reason and then rebooted. There is no particular pattern to it. Sometimes I'm on the internet, sometimes in Powerpoint and often mid flow doing something like typing or even running a PowerPoint presentation in front of an audience!
I managed to disable the reboot to catch a glimpse of what the blue screen said and photographed it...
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
BAD_POOL_CALLER"
Then it goes on to get me to check any new hardware or software is properly installed etc. and suggests if keeps happening to remove new software etc.
Then it gives technical information:
****STOP: 0x000000C2 (0x00000007, 0x00000CD4, 0x03720017,0x848C7478)
Beginning dump of physical memory etc...
On Friday it cut out 2X during the day (it saved my Powerpoint file as a file recovery... )Any ideas?
