vaio memory card adapter VPG-MCA20- on VGN-FE31Z

HI EVERY ONE... I need help with this adapter if anyone know...
it works on some sd cards but not on all... it didn't see the 2 GB sd card i have nor the 2 micro SD cards when I used them with the adaptors...
appreciate any suggestions
