Hello everyone. I'm thinking of upgrading and getting a new hd for the wonderfull ar21m. I know that the laptop is able to get 2 hd's, but i'd like to know if anyone did get a second hd install.. and a nice guide on how to would be really sweet.
I also have the AR21M and fitted extra Memory (1GB) and another 160GB HD (Hitachi SATA (HTS541616J9SA00)). Dead easy to fit. Just remove the cover on the bottom of the laptop and put the drive in. Format and thats it. If you still want a guide let me know. If you're in Bristol bring it over and I'll do it for you.
Hi Vic, thanks for the answer. Glad to know that its that easy. I was just wondering because in some other models you actually have to rip the whole case apart and get new cables, glad this time sony got it right!
