Vaio AR21M - can not wake up correctly-display stays black

Hi All

My laptop is Vaio AR21M with Windows XP Media Center Edition and with all updates from windows and sony websites. Problem is when I put computer to standby mode and than want to wake him up the computer seems working but display stays black and only what I can do is shut him down by pressing on/off button.
I read earlier threads regarding to another vaio models and that issue but non of them solved my problem.
Does anyone have idea what is going on and how to fix that issue with my vaio?

Hi jamamoto,

There is a BIOS Update for the AR31M to fix exactly this problem.

Unfortunately, it is meant for a machine with Vista installed.

I expect it will work for your Vaio but I would phone Sont Vaio-Link Support to check before installing it.
