Hi, I have just upgraded from Me to XP but this has resulted in a desktop image which does not fill the notebook wide screen.

Can anyone help to correct this this?

Have you installed all the XP Drivers from here: -

http://support.vaio.sony.co.uk/downloads/updates/updates.asp?site=voe_en_GB_cons&c=0&s=PCG-C1&m=56&o...

Looks like you need most of the XP software on this page - particularly the Video Chip Drivers for your ATI Rage Mobility-M1!

You may also have to set the Screen Resolution to 1024 X 480 in Display Properties -> Settings

2 I can't get my wireless card to work in the PCMCIA slot - the card is a Linksys wireles-G 2.4GHZ. THe error message reads "the device "Ricoh R/RL/RT/RC5C475(II), R5C520 or Compatible CardBus controller" has detected a CardBus card in its slot, but the firmware on this is not configured to allow the CardBus controller to be run in CardBus mode. The operating system will...........

Any suggestions?????
