I have GeForce Go 7400 with driver version 8.4.1.8 (driver date 06.03.2006.) on my VAIO (VGN-FE28B). I would like to upgrade my video driver, but I don't know which one to use, because drivers from NVidia site do not work.
When I tried to install it, it gave me the information that it can't find the appropriate hardware for that installation.
Can you, please, tell me if this is a problem with my hardware or what else could it be?
Where can I find new appropriate driver?
p.s. My current drivers work fine (except for B/W picture when connected with TV), but I just want to use new ones - if there are such.
Kind regards,
Petar
Install the latest drivers provided by Sony, i think the latest is the version you have.
I had the latest drivers from nvidia installed but recently i reinstalled the drivers from sony because my vaio was becoming instable in games.
However if you want to try follow this walktrougt:

Althoug this site is in portuguese.
Thanks, man!
I already tried several new drivers from that site, and you won't believe me - I run a benchmark for every driver I installed but the current sony drivers I have, have the best performance. So, I won't change them, unless there are any new ones from sony.
