Transport in sleep mode?

Is it OK to carry my VAIO laptop around while it's asleep or should it be shut down?

I expect you get several different answers on this..

Personally if your going from room to room etc. then sleep mode should be fine. If your placing your Vaio in a bag or sleeve for some period of time then I would use hibernate or shut down mode..
