T-Mobile wireless WAN - not required

I recently bought the SZ61VN/X. Hidden away under the battery there is a slot for a SIM card. Problem is that T-Mobile software is pre-installed and as I work most of my time in Poland I want to use a SIM card provided by a Polish telecoms provider (Orange actually). Does nayone know if this is possible - and how. Do I simply uninstall T-Mobile? I ma worried that user any provider will not be possible.

Should be fine to use, uninstall T-mobiles software and install your GSM networks software the card isn't locked to any particular network.
