I have a new VGN-SZ62MN/B laptop running Vista.
When I boot up the HD goes into frantic 100% utilisation for the next 20-25 mins, causing the whole system to slow to a crawl. After 20-25 mins the light goes out and all is well, normal and as expected. The same happens upon recovering from hibernation.
This is straight out of the box, no mods and no software loaded.....
I have done all the auto windows updates and all the Sony auto updates as well as a BIOS update, noe of which helped.
Any ideas please folks?
