Sony Vaio Fw21m windows 7 HDMI problem.

Hello.
I installed a fresh copy of windows 7 ultimate 64-bit edition on my vaio notebook. I previously had vista home edition 32-bit edition. With vista I had no problems with the full hd output, but with windows 7 I can't get a full hd resolution on the external display (full hd TV). I can only get the 1600x900 resolution on the external display. Do you have any advice for me? Any way around this problem?

edit: I just discovered that my bluray drive doesn't read bluray discs aswell anymore. Are there any drivers for it?

we try to answer posts but sometimes they just get missed..

Unfortunately as you've done a clean install of Windows 7 you have lost the sony pre-installed win dvd and so therefore to be able to play blu-ray disks you'll need to install a media player of some kind, something like Win DVD or CyberLink PowerDVD ..

What graphics driver do you have installed.?
