Slow boot up

Hello, I have a vaio fz11m series.

Had it a week, it's great but it takes a year to boot up, it runs really fast when it has booted, really really fast, but it just takes an age to boot up and load the task bar programs.

Anyone got any ideas on how 2 resolve?

My Vaio with Windows Vista takes longer to load then my old XP Vaio..

How long does it take to boot up and load the task bar programs.?

It takes about 3 minutes to load the taskbar programs when logging on.

After it is logged on, it runs faster than any computer I have ever had before.

Booting vista only takes about 20 seconds.
