Recovery stops at 54% sony vaio VGN-NS10L

My laptop sony vaio VGN-NS10L became real slow so I decided to do a full recovery (factory state) reset.
Initially the recovery process goes well, windows starts and the recovery continues... However after 54% the system stuck for ages at the microsoft office installation part . 
 PLEASE help, thank you

Hi Ziadweshahy,

If this happens at exactly the same percentage at each attempt I would suspect that there is a corruption with the recovery media.

Are you using the recovery disks or the hard drive recovery partition?
