Recordings finish early on XL201

I record programmes from Sky which is hooked up to my XL201 via S-Video to the TV Card.
Just noticed a problem in the last week, all my recordings finish about 5mins early.
My settings say start 3mins before and finish 3mins after.
The time on my XL201 is exactly the same as the time shown on the Sky box.
I don't understand what's going wrong.
Any ideas anyone?

So sorry but I can't help you.
Maybe you can help me.
I tried to connect sky box (pace) via s-video by the quality is very low and in b&w.

Witch cable are you using?

I originally had a Pace box with a Scart to S-Video cable, but couldn't get it to work because the Pace box didn't output S-Video. So I bought a Grundig box off e-bay (very cheap) which had a seperate S-video output. So now I use a straight S-Video cable from the Grundig box to the XL201. And the quality is definately better than composite that I had before. I now put Sky on to full 2-metre projector screen, and it is quite acceptable for normal TV, but no good for fast action stuff.

BTW, my problem with recordings finishing early, it seemed to fix itself!

What do you mean with fast action stuff?
